As a clean beauty formulator’s dream ingredient, Plum Kernel Oil is loaded with essential fatty acids (oleic acid ~75%, linoleic acid ~20%) and powerful antioxidants, including Vitamin E. Together, they help support skin barrier repair, restore elasticity, and provide long-lasting nourishment without leaving a greasy feel.

High in nourishing Oleic acid Omega 9 (75%), Linoleic acid Omega 6 (20%), and Vitamin E, Plum Oil is an ideal carrier oil to formulate natural skin, hair, and body care.

It has a light golden yellow color, rich texture, and a delicious natural fragrance and taste of frangipane (marzipan) or sweet almond dessert. Plum Kernel Oil has a composition similar to Argan Oil with a higher level of Omega 9 than Vitamin E antioxidants. Plum Oil can be blended with Moroccan Argan Oil and is the perfect carrier oil to mix with Prickly Pear Seed Oil.

Our Plum Kernel Oil is sourced from a historic region in France renowned for its centuries-old tradition of cultivating and harvesting plums. Originally introduced from China along the Silk Road, plums found their way to France, where they thrived in the fertile soil and temperate climate. During the Crusades, a new plum variety from Syria was brought back to Europe, leading to the creation of the unique French hybrid plum we use today. This rich heritage not only reflects a deep agricultural legacy but also ensures that our oil carries with it a story of culture, tradition, and exceptional quality.

For larger quantities, we will proceed on a pre-order basis as our supplier presses the kernels once an order is placed, always to get the freshest batch of this beautiful oil. Allow about three weeks from placing a pre-order to delivery.
